Coos Bay is just up the road from our home base in Bandon, and we’re there most weeks. It’s the biggest town in our service area, so we see everything from older houses near downtown to newer neighborhoods and businesses along the bay.
Being right on the water means a lot of moisture, and moisture brings pests. Here’s what Coos Bay folks call us about most:
- Rodents — rats and mice are a big one near the waterfront and in older homes. We trap, but more importantly we find and seal the entry points.
- Ants and moisture ants — moisture ants show up where wood stays wet, like under bathrooms, decks and leaky gutters.
- Spiders — they follow the bugs, and there are plenty of bugs near the bay.
- Wasps — nests in eaves, fences and wall voids in summer.
- Bed bugs — they travel with people, and we help both homeowners and property managers deal with them.
If you’re buying or selling a home, we also do termite and wood-destroying organism (WDO) inspections, and we can check the crawl space while we’re under there. Torn or missing vapor barrier and wet insulation are common in Coos Bay crawl spaces, and we can replace them.
For businesses — shops, restaurants, offices — we can set up regular service that works around your hours.
We’re a small, family-run company, licensed and insured (ODA AG-L1091669CPO, CCB #262641). We’ll tell you straight what we find and what we’d do about it.
